Turkey in a creamy garlic and wine stew with easy swede mash.

This recipe is so simple it might as well make itself. Totally perfect for a red day or low carb meal!

Turkey in a creamy garlic and wine stew with easy swede mash
 Serves 2 | Syns per portion: 1 + Half a HEX | Cals aprox 500

Lean diced turkey
2 Chicken stock cubes or equivalent
2 Cloves of garlic
A splash of white wine
2 Lean bacon medallions (smoked)
1 Large onion, sliced
75g Light Philadelphia with chives
1 Swede
1 Tsp Low fat butter

Step 1: Frylight a large wok or frying pan and brown the sliced onion. Once browned, turn up the heat and add the bacon and turkey.
Step 2: Once it's all cooked, add the splash of wine, garlic and crumbled stock cubes to form a thick kind of paste. Add about 200mls of boiling water and the philadelphia and reduce to simmer until it's all yummy and cooked. Season to taste.
Step 3: Place the swede in the microwave for 15 minutes. You don't need to do anything to it - just whack it in there.
Step 4: Cut open the swede and scoop out all the flesh, mash with a teaspoon of butter and plenty of pepper.

Done! Serve with fresh vegetables for a heart warming, super healthy and decadent meal.
