 Day 10. Crispy chicken goujons burger with "chilli mayo"
Serves 2 | Syns (with mayo using roll as HEX) 1

Finally! Recipe time!

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts cut into goujon shape
A handful of Smash potato flakes
1 egg
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon mixed herbs
1 teaspoon piri piri seasoning

For the chilli "mayo":

4 tablespoons extra light mayo (2 syns)
2 tables fat free fromage frais or yogurt
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chilli paste

Step 1: Mix the herbs, chilli, paprika and piri piri seasoning in with the smash potato flakes.
Step 2: Coat the chicken pieces in the egg wash and then coat the chicken in the smash mixture.
Step 3: Spray with frylight and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes on a medium heat.
Step 4: Mix all the of the chilli mayo ingredients together!

Done! Enjoy. There are tonnes of variations with smash chicken so experiment with different herbs or spices and you can also add things to the egg mixture before dipping, chicken bovril tastes amazing mixed with the egg and gives the chicken a lovely flavour! Have fun.
